Wow! Again Tuffstuff delivers above expectations ! In Dec 2013 a truck drove into our Volvo. With minor damage we decided to pursue the truck owner in our personal capacity to recover the damages. After 2 months of struggling with the truck owner we decided to submit a claim with TuffStuff this morning. By day end the assessor came to assess the vehicle damage at our place of work and approved the claim at the same time! That is service !

I have to say in all my dealings with Tuffstuff and your staff, I have always been met with a helpful, friendlyand professional attitude. Thank for paying attention to small details such as removing Cell phone from the policy as soon a claim on it has been submitted, as this in general does not happen.

I just want to share this with all , because if you are not insured by TuffStuff , change TODAY

I came from Ermelo on the N4 route , my company bakkie broke down just before Bronk. and i phoned the office so that they can arrange our company insurance to come and fetch me , the company insurance told me that they will only take me to the nearest town , what was Bronk.So i told my boss that i will get my personal insurance to take me home.....

I picked up the phone and i spoke to Tuffstuff , the company bakkie is not even insured by them , they arranged a towtruck to come pick me up and take me to centurion in less that half an hour.

Just want to say THANKS to Raymond and Andre , i can not think there is a short term insurance company like TUFFSTUFF!!!

I would just like to say thanks to Tuffstuff for the way mine and my wife’s claims have been handled. I was with my previous insurer for about 10 years so I was sceptical about changing to Tuffstuff. I must say that I am more than happy and I will recommend you guys to anyone interested.

I would also like to thank Cederick Stander, the assessor. His support today at Danmar Autobody is highly appreciated and I am confident he will not allow Danmar to return my car until it is 100% repaired. 

Good service today is a scarce thing but you can pride yourselves in the fact that you are the exception to the norm. Thank you for that.

11 July 2012 - Robert Gunningham

On the 8Th June 2012, returning from an awesome trip to Central Kalahari and Moremi, my vehicle broke down 120 kms from Francistown, Botswana. Friends managed to get my vehicle and trailer to Francistown. While waiting on the roadside,I contacted Tuffstuff 4x4 insurance and everything was arranged our recovery from Botswana within an hour. Philip from Terphi Towing collected me, my car and trailer from Francistown on Saturday morning and I was home in Kempton Park by ten on Saturday night. This was excellent service, heartfelt thanks to Mike Brophy and his team at Tuffstuff.

Just a big thank you for the service received from Meliska and from Ream Insurance, I think I can honestly say that Meliska walked the extra mile to do the recovery for me and also I can say great service from Ream working together as a Team.

There are many Insurance Companies these days that can be classified as “Good” but there are very few that can be classified as “Great”.

The level of service received is definitely in the Upper Class Category.

The reason I wanted to contact you was to compliment your Call Centre on the excellent service I recently received from that source.

I had the misfortune to experience a mechanical failure related to my vehicle on the afternoon of Saturday, 21 April 2012.

I contacted your Call Centre and spoke to Martie who was extremely helpful in that no only did she offer immediate tow-in help but re-arranged the service for the following day at 0900 hrs in order to suit my requirements.

On Sunday the tow truck arrived on time, provided secure overnight storage and delivered the vehicle to the repair workshop as promised early on Monday, 23 April 2012, which provided sufficient time for the repairers to complete the work in time for me to continue my journey the same day.

On several occasions Martie contacted me to inform me of progress on the matter and also to ensure that I was obtaining the necessary attention.

Please convey my appreciation to the management of the Call Centre and in particular to Martie for the professional and efficient manner in which they conducted the entire process which definitely minimized the inconvenience of the entire experience.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you and those involved with my case at Tuffstuff insurance for assisting me in time of need when my Landrover suffered a major electrical breakdown whilst I was away on holiday in Kwazulu Natal.

There was also a gentleman who contacted me to finalise car hire details, I didn’t record his name but I think it may have been Adrian. I also recall that you needed to run the case by your CEO for signoff (sorry I should have made notes of all the names but was a bit distracted at the time). Thanks to all of you I was able to get my London based family back to OR Tambo Airport at the end of our holiday in time for their flight and was also able to tow my offroad trailer back to Johannesburg which gives me great peace of mind not having had to leave it not in my own care.

Tuffstuff insurance came highly recommended to me through friends who also drive offroad vehicles and I must admit that ever since I signed up as a client of yours I felt an enormous sense of security knowing I am covered by someone who understands my lifestyle requirements. On a slightly related note, can I just commend the whole team at tuffstuff for your excellent service? I haven’t needed to claim from you guys, but all the admin I’ve had to do has been an absolute pleasure, and I don’t for a second doubt that if the day comes when I will need to call on tuffstuff to help, the same level of professionalism and helpfulness will prevail. 

In general, I dread dealing with companies as customer service seems to have long been forgotten, and you guys are really a breath of fresh air in this regard.
